In the centre of a small valley, at a height of 284 meters above sea level, the municipality of Castelluccio
dei Sauri stands like a knight on a hill. Here the Company ‘’Carpinone Pasquale’’ was set up by the eponymous entrepreneur in 1987, extending over an area of 8 hectares of which 4 covered by greenhouses.
After a lot of commitment, willingness, honesty, sacrifices and strong support from his wife, the company has grown asserting itself in the greenhouse vegetable production market. Today, the experience and professionalism gained in many years of work, together with the constant research of innovation and the achievement of targeted studies of the sons, led to the foundation of the renewed company ‘’Vivaio Carpinone s.r.l. Agricola’’.
The latter has a small factory provided with specific, cutting-edge equipment and modern industrial means of transportation. The organization and coordination of the whole staff allow us to reach quality production results higher than the average of direct competitors, with competitive prices we operate in the national and international markets.
The climate is very hot in the summer and fairly harsh in the winter. Due to the climate changes, the fertility of the soil, favours the cultivation and growth of most of the plant and tree species typical of the area. There are numerous olive plantations on the slopes of the hills. They are characteristic of the typical landscape of the territory and produce a highly appreciated and demanded extra virgin olive oil.
The company ‘Vivaio Carpinone’ is located in this olive oil-production area. The company has invested in the cultivation of super-intensive olive groves, respecting the properties of its land and innovating tradition while using modern equipment for the care of its own olive trees, thus producing a high-quality extra virgin olive oil to satisfy the tastes of the final consumers.
